In the summer of 2007, I took waldo out of the books, wrote missing under him, put him on a sticker, and then hid him all around NYC. I built a simple website with general locations and offered prizes to those that found him and wrote in. I was interested in seeing if people would put the two things together and search it. There wasn’t a website listed either. People did however and were rewarded. After a few weeks, I was written up in several newspapers and asked to be on Japanese TV. A year later the owners of Waldo contacted me and said they loved what I was doing and wanted a link from my site to theirs and a few shirts.

November 2007 I hosted and curated my own gallery show called “Sounds Like Another Custom Show”. I had 19 artists from around the world customize Ibanez guitars and then put them up for auction. The event was a huge hit for me and the artists.
